PTSD: a vet who beat it and works with others to do the same, Jan 22 and 26

You feel on edge. Nightmares keep coming back. Sudden noises make you jump. The Sunday Boston Globe Magazine (1/20/13) reported that at least one in every five service members returning from war has symptoms of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder or major depression. There are 18 suicides every day. In a promising new trend, returning veterans are being successfully treated by other veterans, people who know the structure, culture, consequences, and language of military service.
